LOOKING FOR A SCENIC SPOT TO VISIT?

The historic Red Mill is located at
N2190 County Hwy. K, in the
Town of Little Hope,
just 3 miles south of
Waupaca, WI.

It’s a wonderful - completely free! -
place to visit where you can
wander the sun-dappled grounds
lush with foliage (or snow!),
and have a picnic on the banks
of the Crystal River.  Fishing is
allowed and encouraged!
There’s a romantic covered
foot bridge that leads to the
darling tiny chapel where,
for a reasonable cost,
brides and grooms can get
hitched by the minister
of their choice.

Don’t drive through southern
Wisconsin without stopping
to experience the almost
supernatural serenity of
the Red Mill!

Stopped by for the first time Sat. August 8. Please send me some of your business cards. There was just one at the desk in the entry, but since it was the only one, I did not take it. A beautiful wedding was in process in the Grove.

    Hi, Lois,

Thank you for your comment. I’m not the owner or operator of the Red Mill; I’m simply an interested observer. I do, however, have the mailing address of the Red Mill:

    Don Schmidt, owner
    Red Mill
    A2190 Cty Hy K
    Waupaca, WI 54931

I’m sure Don would love to hear from you and would be glad to answer any questions and/or send a business card.

    Deborah
